Adversaries went underground. Defense didn’t follow.

Traysar engineers autonomous systems for the underground. Precise, expeditionary, self-guided, and built for the new battlefield.

Distributed Infrastructure

Power, comms, and mission infrastructure deployed on the move. Sustained thrust and long-range operations underground, with minimal surface support.

Speed

Underground movement at the tempo of surface decisions. Built for operational speed, not survey time.

Mobility

Built to arrive, deploy and operate with minimal support. Designed for the realities of contested environments.

Autonomy

Self-guided platforms built to operate without an operator's hand. Hardware that thinks below the surface.

Subterra noun

1 All activities, forces, and operations directly related to the underground, tunnels, or other major navigable infrastructure protected by the crust of the earth. It is not limited strictly to terror and tunnel combat, but encompasses a broad operational domain and specific strategic concepts.

Subterra
Domain

The environment in which subterranean operations take place. It includes natural and man-made underground spaces, subterranean infrastructure, geological formations, tunnels, bunkers, hardened facilities, buried logistics networks, and the systems operating within them.

The Subterra Domain encompasses everything below the earth's surface where military maneuver, logistics, sensing, survivability, and strike operations can occur.

Military forces operate in the Subterra Domain
to accomplish three primary objectives

01

Subterra Advantage

Unlocking the underground domain to maneuver forces, sustain operations, position sensors, and project effects while creating asymmetric advantages beyond the reach of enemy observation and attack.

02

Subterra Denial

Preventing an adversary from using subterranean terrain, tunnels, underground infrastructure, or hardened facilities for maneuver, sustainment, concealment, or military operations.

03

Subterra Protection

Protecting critical infrastructure, strategic assets, and military operations through underground survivability, hardened systems, and resilient defenses that ensure freedom of action under attack.

OVERARCHING LAYER → OBSERVABILITY

Understanding the underground environment before, during, and after operations. Observability is the foundation of all Subterra operations. Without persistent awareness of underground terrain, infrastructure, and activity, neither survivability nor lethality can be achieved.

Underground Intelligence

Detecting, locating, and characterizing tunnels, buried infrastructure, underground facilities, and adversary assets to create a complete understanding of the Subterra battlespace.

Mapping & Localization

Precise underground mapping while maintaining real-time positioning and navigation in GPS-denied environments, enabling autonomous systems to maneuver beneath the surface.

Persistent Communications

Providing resilient communications and data transfer to ensure continuous command, control, and situational awareness throughout subterranean operations.

Geological Intelligence

Understanding the surrounding earth in real time to enable autonomous navigation, mobility, survivability, and mission planning across complex underground environments.

MISSION 01 → Survivability

Using the crust of the earth to protect US command posts and critical infrastructure at home and on the battlefield

Rapidly burying critical and expeditionary infrastructure: comms, command posts, power, and logistics—preserves combat power, reduces interceptor dependence, hardens forces forward, and breaks the enemy’s attack economics.
